This recipe is fantastic as a cake or as cupcakes. Whenever I make cake or cupcakes with this recipe, they never last long, especially topped with buttercream frosting!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt and whisk.

Mix in the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla, and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix well.

Add the boiling water.

Pour the batter into your Cake pan or Cupcake tray.

Bake for 35 minutes.

Notes

This makes two 9-inch round cakes or 24 cupcakes.

  • 1/2 cup Flax Seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 4 Flax Eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

Instructions

Gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F.

In a small bowl add the Flax seeds, Baking powder, and Cinnamon.

Add the Milk and the Flax egg .

Add the Brown sugar and mix.

This is a really simple and easy granola recipe. This granola is perfect with milk, yogurt, or just as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Oats
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil
  • A Pinch of Salt

Instructions

Gather all your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 250°F.

Grab a big bowl and add the oats and the brown sugar.

Add the almonds and the coconut.

Add the oil and the salt.

Line a pan with parchment paper (or reusable, oven safe, non-stick mat).

Pour the mixture on the pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Mix the granola every 15 minutes to get a perfectly golden granola.

Have you ever looked up on the internet "Pastry cream filling without cornstarch" and all that pops up are recipes containing cornstarch. Well, you have come across the perfect recipe. This recipe does not contain cornstarch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Gather all you ingredients. pour the milk and vanilla in a pot on medium-high heat. Remove from heat right before a boil. Set aside.

Add the egg yokes and sugar in a bowl and mix together.

Add the flour and mix well. Then add the milk.

Add the milk mixture back to the stove. Use a spoon to mix.

Mix for 2-5 minutes until thick and creamy.

Set in fridge for 30 minutes. Take out and stir before using.
